Yesterday, I had the pleasure of presenting a practical phishing attack (and how to spot it!) to Handelsbanken staff members and customers both prospective and current at Eaglescliffe Golf Club, at the invitation of Cleveland Police. The slides from the talk are available to download.

The talk was a similar shape (and presented a similar attack) to one I've written about previously but this time accompanied by a look at Have I Been Pwned?, a topic I also have a blog post on but not one I've covered in any of my talks before. Needless to say, the notion of being able to proactively discover what sort of personal information is already out there was at once very interesting and a more than a little nerve-wracking for all in attendance.

If you'd like to read more about keeping your passwords safe online, you might like to take a look at my 3-part Taking Password Security Seriously series.

You can get the slides to the (very short) talk here.
